Make connections and identify potential customers through AMSA’s online Membership Directory. The directory offers a comprehensive and easy-to-use searchable database that is used exclusively by AMSA members. This essential member resource features detailed contact information for all members, and is organized by interstate, local and international movers, as well as suppliers, affiliates and associations.
Networking and Business Development Opportunities
AMSA offers in-person opportunities for professional networking and business development at our annual Education Conference & Expo, Safety & Operations Conference, and Moving Day on Capitol Hill. Affiliate members receive discounted rates for advertising from AMSA’s print magazine (Direction), our electronic publication (Industry Trends) and industry e-newsletter (AMSA Today), on our industry website, ProMover.org, and consumer website, Moving.org.
Industry Recognition
Affiliate members are recognized by AMSA leadership for their support of the industry, and are eligible to receive AMSA’s Summit Award for Supplier Members. This distinguished award is presented at the annual Education Conference & Expo.
Exclusive Partnerships
The Chairman’s Circle and Member Discount Program provide the opportunity for category-exclusive affiliate member companies to receive recognition of their support and investment in AMSA and our activities throughout the year. Affiliate members have an opportunity to become a partner — a significant investment for members who believe that the ongoing viability of AMSA and the moving and storage industry is important to their business. Partnerships are available to AMSA suppliers in good standing who have been members for 18 months or longer.
Industry Intelligence and Expertise
Affiliate members will receive AMSA Today, a bi-weekly e-newsletter that provides industry news, congressional and regulatory updates, and exclusive members-only content from AMSA.
Direction magazine, our award-winning publication, includes news of interest to the entire industry, as well as stories and profiles about individual member companies.
Scholarships
AMSA members can apply for academic scholarships through the Moving & Storage Institute, AMSA’s philanthropic arm, and scholarships are also available to participants in AMSA’s Leaders Program.
Lobbying and PR Efforts
AMSA represents and promotes the industry’s interests on Capitol Hill with lawmakers and regulators, working to eliminate unfair taxes, fighting rogues, and promoting common-sense regulation. AMSA’s full-time, active lobbying team deals with issues that can help or hurt our industry.
